Daniel Marshall is a composer originating from Calgary, Alberta. He completed undergraduate studies in composition at the University of Calgary and is in the Master's of Music program at the University of British Columbia. A supporter of the involvement of arts in the community, he also serves on the board of UBC's Composer's Collective, an organization providing opportunities for emerging composers in Vancouver, and is co-chair and co-founder of the Arts & Culture Committee at UBC's St. John's College.
