Joseph Glaser was born in Montreal in 1991. He started studying music in Montreal’s Royal West Band program and started composing soon after. Joseph studied with Stewart Grant while in Montreal. He then moved to Toronto to attend Earl Haig’s Claude Watson arts program. While there he studied with Alan Torok and Gary Kulesha. Joseph now attends the University of British Columbia where he has studied under Dorothy Chang, Steven Chatman and Jocelyn Morlock.
Joseph has had his works performed by the Royal West Honour Band, the UBC Contemporary Players, the Gryphon Trio and the Amici Chamber Ensemble among others.
